Waiting for a Urologist appointment with my husband. Appointment is at 9:45a.m. It’s currently 10:23am. Huge disregard that people with infertility problems have normal lives and don’t understand why even have appointments in the first place. 👎👎👎 been over 7 years coming here because it takes forever to get appointments and they make you jump through every hoop possible. When I first started coming here things were better but now it’s like people think you don’t have to put any effort into life.

You will have to wait for appointment for weeks and months, once confirmed, it will be cancelled on the same day, you try to reach them ( good luck) wit waiting for hours in line and then goes to automatic voice message and after leaving dozens of messages, no will call you back. The experience with the staff (i.e., the doctor Dr. Antaki and the nurse Cameron) is exceptional. My issue is with the responsiveness to emails and calls. As a patient, I am always invited to send emails or call. Yet I have never received not even one single reply to my emails. So, I end up calling only to have to wait for more than 45 mins (every single time) for someone to pick up. Then the call can automatically get cut at 60 mins without anyone responding so I find myself having to re-call again. It didn't just happen one time, the absurd waiting time happens every time I call. I would give the staff a 5-star rating but the responsiveness 0 star.

In 2019, the company I was with Procrea got acquired by Ovo in Quebec when I was 39 around 2019 - 20 Assurances were given by doctors for top-notch treatment without the need to switch clinics. I commenced tests with Ovo, but my file went missing in 2020, with repetitive excuses and no phone communication or feedback. Despite the global Covid situation, there was no suggestion to freeze eggs due to the pandemic, leading to prolonged waiting. Finally, after two years, I underwent IVF remotely Apart from the day of the in-person procedure, I conducted the Pgt A remotely and received a call indicating that the embryos weren't healthy. The primary issue was conveyed to be the decline in the quality of my eggs, particularly concerning for women after the age of 40 ishh . Interestingly, in our case, the main challenge stemmed from my 51-year-old husband's Micro Tc Instead of providing guidance, the doctor conveyed the unfortunate news remotely without a camera, urging us to consider buying eggs from a donor or pursuing adoption. OVO clinic's handling of the situation, coupled with the delays during the Procrea acquisition and the subsequent pandemic, resulted in a significant loss of time. Now, four years later, we're with another clinic, trying to grasp the process at 43. Time is a crucial factor, so my advice, after this experience, is for women to consider freezing their eggs. There's a lack of awareness about this, so educate yourself. Sending love and good luck to every person but please aware that this clinic made us lose a lot of time ,money ( we paid from ou pocket) and the most important no guidance to build our dream

Their coordination is terrible! Reception sends you to nurses, nurses send you to coordination department, the latest sends you back to nurses, nurses ask you to book appointment with doctor through coordination department, those guys don’t return your calls or refuse to book you with the doctor and so on for many many months. If you are over 40, they will not take you since they don’t receive funds from RAMQ and don’t want to affect their statistics of success! And they will hide this information until the last moment and not put it on the WebSite. They will offer you egg donner services. They take only people with high chances of success. But with high chances I would do it at home, I don’t need a fertility clinic to have sex instead of me and get paid for it, en plus! Also their online booking has glitches and it was very difficult to get on the waiting list (phone calls, email exchanges etc.). Also they cancel the booked appointments.

They make you run around and get medical records and refuse to provide service because they don’t want to offer a second opinion the the event they are incorrect. Their billing team always messed up the invoicing and good luck trying to get in touch with them. Save your money. Not worth it.

Incompetent, rude, unprofessional. Edit: Edit: Gee, thanks for the form letter invitation to discuss our experience. Shall I send an email into the void, or call and spend another 45 minutes to 2 hours on hold before talking to someone at the front desk who has been chatting with her friends on her cellphone in the meanwhile? Who will then schedule us for a bloodwork appointment a half hour after that part of the lab closes, and then, after we rearrange work and travel across town to come in for that useless appointment say “Oops, you will need to reschedule”? Or tell us that we are checked in for our test and to wait until we are called and then… not tell the nurses that we have arrived, so we just sit, and sit, and sit for an hour, for no reason at all? And then when we ask what happened, lie to our face and say that it was an error in the computer system? If you want to improve your service, replace the entire front desk staff. Maybe clients who are white native French speakers are treated with some kindness, but the rest of us are dealing with endless smirks, eyerolls, and insufferable rudeness. The fertility journey is a challenge, and a little human decency goes a long way. Your front desk staff does not have it. It’s a pity, because the nurses and doctors who are doing the real work are fine.

Run like a disorganized disinterested factory. You won’t see your own specialist; it’ll be a random specialist or fellow each time; always very late (presently 45 min and counting…); not patient centric at all. On top, you’ll waste months waiting to move along with their broken processes. This is not the experience you picture when you’re seeking fertility help. Especially when paying for it out of pocket. Not remotely patient centred care. It’s like they copied and ported the dysfunctional hospital model into a separate facility and shrugged their shoulders. You’re not a person here. Strongly encourage you to explore other options - as limited as they may be. FYI to Ovo: front desk staff were great today. But it’s very much like straightening deck chairs on the titanic, or putting a bow tie and smile on a donkey. You need to overhaul your entire customer / patient facing operations and associated experience if you’re going to retain any kind of a positive reputation. You can do it. You have great people but you need to start from scratch, walk in through the eyes of the patient and design your processes and set your standard from that lens. Follow up reply to Ovo Ownership, you just don’t seem to get it or care. (?) Don’t frame this around me or system demand. It’s patronizing and reeks of paternalism. This deflection of accountability reinforces what I tried to convey in my review. You have all the pieces, let’s call them ingredients, and yet anyone who walks in those doors, or goodness sakes tries to call, knows immediately you do not have the right recipe. You not acknowledging that is the problem. I beseech you, go to clinics outside of this province, observe best practices, and re-engineer your systems. This isn’t about you, or your people, or all the great you do. This is about what isn’t working in your business or patient care practices. Your patients are at your mercy. Physician skills and good intentions (which you have) go a long way but not nearly far enough. We need the best of your operations and management thereof as well. Demand is an opportunity, not an excuse.

Worst experience ever with a private health facility. I would not recommend these guys to anyone. Hours spent on hold to get through their phone lines to get an apointment. Their website is completely useless. tried to request an apointment and it just fails "An error occured submitting your form. Please verify your entries and submit again. If the error occurs again please contact clinic ovo. " how useless is this if they don't highlight the issue!!! their patient portal is completely useless, you fill in forms upon forms and then when you get to the clinique you fill in some more paper ones!!!

I was seriously injured a few days before our first appointment and forgot to cancel. The staff member’s answer, when they called at the appointment time and were told that I’d been in a traumatic accident, was “yeah, okay, whatever.” If they can’t bring themselves to meet the bare minimum of kindness in this situation, how can we trust them to be kind as we navigate infertility? Not super professional at all especially for people who are supposed to understand the horrible stress of fertility treatments. For a spermogramme with a 45 min delay ,you rush and arrive there to find a person taking allllll the time in the world. Then they ask for the medical request ( which comes from them but they don’t have it on file) then they leave another 5 min to find another doctor to sign a new request ( because they didn’t make sure it was up to date Before the appoiNtment) we advise them 5 times our sample will expire in 5 min but they insist to make us pay before taking it so now… we did all this for nothing because they just wanted to charge us and they had zero compassion or kindness to offer they seem to be only interested in charging your credit card. If after a year of trying they do this ….how can we trust their professionalism? They are supposed to be experts at this and obviously have amaizingly failed ! I am extremely mad and unsatisfied and disgusted that people use our wish to have babies to make a 200$ on our back. Will never recommend them ever! The ethical thing to do would be to make sure you will save the sample before charging the card..instead they refused to process anything until it was 45 min…. Big ZERO for customer service and Minus 100 for ethics—————- 2024———— still no customer service after an email and 5 days of waiting it’s not possible to get an appointment.I call wait twenty minute then the girl is rude and puts me back in the cue …. then i get hung up on because of lunch…… Receptionist are not really nice so far and no one seems to care that Fertility is a hard process and dealing with kind people would help …..

I never write reviews for anything but I had to for this place, when you want to make an appointment by phone you can’t even get through to even speak with someone you’ll just wait forever so no point. Then you go in person and try to make and appointment, and the lady at the receptionist asks if you have an appointment and if you don’t she’ll skips you because you don’t have one and pass everyone else. Even if you’re one of the first people there. What’s the point in calling or going in person if you cant have either? Lol what a joke. Not to mention when they say you need an appointment you can’t have them in advance because they don’t book appointments in advance. Super frustrating this place. This place is a joke

DONT START YOUR PROCESS IN THIS CLINIC!!! As a husband and going thought all the steps with my wife I'll never recommend this clinic for another family to start their process for fertilization. First, every time my wife had to talk or take instructions by phone from the clinic, the nurse or person in the other end was very rude and zero empathy. Second, for any appointment there is no online system that works, you have to call and stay for 40min or more on hold and wait. If you are luck you can have an appointment with less than 2 weeks. WE LOSE a loooooooooooot of periods in this whole process because of that and what could be better solved with a close follow up, more attention and a feeling of individual treatment (and not mass production process) we had a totally opposite feeling. The only, and I can say, only positive thing about the clinic is the treatment once you are there, inside... it seems a totally 2 deferent clinic, one by phone and another in person. In resume we end with our chances with Clinique Ovo and I really regret to started with this clinic, I should tried another options even in another country. Please whoever is thinking about start their process here, check other places and others reviews.

I have to add that the ultrasound tech (Rosella) is amazing! She made me and my partner feel comfortable and took her time to explain everything to us each step of the way. I had all 4 of my ultrasounds with OVO, 3 of which were with Rosie. She is an absolute gem as she really was just as excited as we were every single time. I am so thankful to have had her throughout this process and she deserves so much recognition. Ultrasounds can be stressful and she really made sure to answer all of our questions, reassure us and take her time. The clinic itself was always very welcoming, never had to wait for my appointment and reception always friendly. I truly recommend this place as they really provide a stress-free experience & beautiful pictures.

The wait times on the phone are ridiculously long. How is it possible to hold the line for over 30 minutes to talk to an agent? Are there two agents working that cannot answer the phone and instead make people wait on the phone for half an hour? Do they think people have nothing else to do but to wait until they will answer the phone? I have been hearing the same phrase “ All our agents are currently busy. Please hold the line to maintain your call priority” for nearly an hour now. How long to wait? It’s frustrating.

This is the worst fertility clinic I know. Our first consultation the doctor told us we need to do IVF with no test nothing. We did the tests required for IVF and they went quiet we had to make follow ups. After many tries to reach the clinic and in the process we got pregnant naturally we decided to move to Mcgill reproductive. The service was like sun and day. Got an appointment right away no fees compared to Ovo. The doctors at Mcgill did all test and told us to start natural with their support, then IUI then after 4 tries we can start IVF. Why would Ovo be so rushed to offered treatments with no tests. Worst clinic...

**EDIT** after my second appointment I can say that all the girls working in the front are RUDE! And have no customer service skills whatsoever. They’re only after your money! I paid for a test that the nurse wasn’t even going to do until I mentioned it and she replied by saying “I don’t understand why you’re doing this but ok”. Only reason I’m going here is because of location and it’s very convenient for me I went in for the first time to schedule an apt. The receptionist with the glasses and tattoo on her wrist is EXTREMELY rude! First off she was on the phone , rolling her eyes at whatever the person on the other end was saying and she saw me standing there. She didn’t smile (yes you can tell when people smile even behind their mask). I tried speaking to her and she kept interrupting me. VERY unprofessional and not welcoming at àll. Maybe I will change my rating once I meet the doctor but for now this was a bad first impression.

I’ve been going to OVO for a few years now and although it’s hard sometimes to get in touch with them (which is a normal thing in our healthcare system), they are great. Rosie the ultrasound technician and nurse is one of the best humans I have ever met and I couldn’t wait to see her. Quick results and friendly staff.

After a lot of research looking for a good fertility clinic I chose Ovo but have come to deeply regret my decision. Ultimately I have have had multiple bad experiences mainly with one of the receptionists and two of the doctors. These experiences have caused so much extra stress and anxiety. 1) my last bad experience really upset me. The doctor I spoke to was raising her voice and arguing with me about my medication, cutting me off saying I misunderstood the medication I’ve been taking for over a year that was prescribed by my family doctor before I ever contacted Ovo. I tried to explain to her what I was told by my doctor and pharmacist but she kept insisting that I was wrong. This appointment lasted all of 4 to 5 minutes maximum. 2) I’ve only had two good experiences with the clinic and that was with the nurses and the psychologist.  the two doctors that I’ve had appointments with project and act as though they don’t care and are not willing to work with me through this already stressful process. All of my zoom or phone appointments have been under 10 minutes.

I had to issues with this clinic. 1) when i came for the first time to do the Harmony test, i explained to the nurse that I always have problems with the blood tests. Veins are easy to find but the blood doesn’t flow. The nurse insisted that she knows her stuff and she has years of experience. She ended up by tearing up the veins on both hands. Blamed my veins and not her skills.. At the end she used butterfly needle and successfully did the blood test … That test came as “null”. No one called me to tell anything till I called on business day 12 after the test and insisted that’s been too long.. then they found out that the test is null and i need to redo it. For my second attempt to do the Harmony , there was another nurse, i explained again the issue with my veins, she did it gently with the butterfly needle again. One more time, no one called me when they got my result, till i called and instinct and started to stress. The second test came null as well. I got the refund and was told to got find a clinic and to do the Panorama. 2) second issue is when i found out, by searching for different clinic for Panorama test, that the Harmony test and Panorama CANNOT be done with butterfly needles!!!! The little hose that goes from the needle to the tube brakes apart molecules . That is the main reason of the Null result. I called Ovo just to share this info, just to let them know and it may help them to avoid this type of issues, the secretary once again made me understand that they know better their job at the clinic.

Nice clinic with friendly staff. I went here for my 3rd trimester ultrasound. I had made the appointment via email and the receptionist was very easy to speak to and informative. When I arrived for my appointment, I didn't have to wait too long before being seen by the technician. The technician was very friendly and kind. I would feel comfortable going back to this clinic in the future if needed.

For my last two children I have had my 20 week anatomy scans at Clinique Ovo with their amazing technician, Rosie. If you are looking to feel supported, comforted and have a technician who is just as excited about seeing your baby as you are- this is the clinique for you! She answers your questions, takes her time to be thorough with each measurement, all while making sure she snaps some great photos of your little one. Not being able to bring my partner due to covid restrictions was tough but Rosie's warm demeanor and kindness was an incredible help! It can be tricky at times to reach someone when calling the clinique but my messages were always returned within 24 hours and the receptionist who I dealt with on the morning of my appointment was attentive and friendly. I can't speak for all their services but for ultrasounds, I highly recommend this place!

My partner and I had a good experience at Clinique OVO right from the beginning. I was able to get information online from Eugenie about the products, she was super knowledgeable and helpful. When we arrived we were told exactly what to expect for the appointment and were treated in an extremely professional manner. We were told there may be a delay which allowed us to make arrangements for our next commitment. The ultrasound experience with Rosella was amazing. She was patient and answered all of my questions and was able to provide pertinent information about our little one. We did the NIPT and Gender testing and got both the results within two business days when we were told it would take longer. We couldn't be any happier. Thank you Clinique OVO for the exceptional service!

Despite all the bad reviews I saw about OVO I can't complain about the experience I had there. They took me on time for the appointment and the staff provided an outstanding service. The technologist who did my US gave us a lot of attention and was really nice during the exam. She explained to us step by step what she was seeing and doing. Later I saw a nurse for some blood tests which showed being nice and caring as well. A small down side for me was the service on the phone. Maybe the receptionist wasn't in the best of her days. I'm not sure they provide service in English. In any moment the staff asked me which language I prefer. For me it wasn't a problem at all.

There was a mistake at the booking of appointment for my 12 week US and Harmony testing, the confirmation text was sent to the wrong number... who cancelled it instead of ignoring it. Regardless, the receptionist, Christine, was quick to find me a solution and the tech, Rosella, agreed to stay later to see me. And thank god, Rosella is so sweet... she was patient and detailed throughout the whole thing... I’m so grateful to have done my first US with her. Thank you for everything despite the original mix up.

I had a mixed experience at Clinique OVO. I was able to get a hold of them easily on the phone to make an appointment and my experience with the nurse was pleasant. However, I did not have a good experience with the administrative assistant (she cut me off when I was trying to explain the requisition was faxed to the clinic, she got me to call my clinic back to get their fax number when I feel like she would have had an easier access to the phone, also, I tried to help her get the address and contact information for my doctor correctly in the system, but when I got to see the nurse I noticed on the computer it hadn't been put in correctly - the nurse was easily able to fix the errors).

I can't say enough about this clinic. I began my prenatal follow up here because of a recommendation of a friend and I'm so happy I did it. From the first appointment with the doctor everything went so smoothly, my doctor was very sensitive, explained everything to me. They gave me there all the remissions for the near future blood tests and ultrasounds, I decided to do all my ultrasounds there. The waiting times are short, at least in my case I had the appointment at 9:00 AM and at that same time I was already been attended by the nurse. When I went for my first ultrasound I was a little nervous like everyone I think, but Rosella my God she is so so amazing! She love love her work! I felt so good. I enjoyed my ultrasound every second, she explained everything to me showed me everything that was going on with my baby and me! I don't have words for her, I just hope she'll be the one doing the rest of my ultrasounds! Thank you!

I had my dating ultrasound done on May 13th 2021 with OVO clinic but they did not send my reports to my doctor till June 8 2021, the day I had appointment with my doctor for consultation for the same. I had to call them, my clinic had to call them but no satisfactory reply. They replied as if it was never their fault. It is June 15 and still they have not sent the reports, no obligation and the staff is so rude and did not even accept their mistake. Very disappointing attitude and services. They charged 500 dollars for such a poor treatment. I will never recommend this clinic. Just care about the money.

The clinic seems to undergo some drastic management changes on the negative side. I have been going to the clinic for pregnancy follow-ups and so far the experience has been good. But all of a sudden, my referral faxes are kept being ignored, my emails are being ignored and no one from prenatal can be reached using their ridiculous phone systems. Left a voice message, and no one ever replied to me. SO I CANNOT find any doctors for my six-week postpartum follow-up.

I had an amazing experience at OVO ( took the Harmony test at 12 weeks), the technician that performed my ultrasound was very friendly, and took her time with the procedure gave me many explanations, and answered all my questions. I spent almost 20-30 minutes with her whereas the hospital ultrasounds tend to be very "in and out" ... sometimes you feel like just another number. After my OVO appointment I received a total of 40 (forty!) pictures and videos, a mix of both 2D and 3D, and that made my partner really happy since he wasn't allowed to be there with me due to covid restrictions (sigh). The only reason I am giving this a 4 stars, is because I was misinformed by the nurse that did my blood test, on how the SNEAK PEEK results will arrive, and what to expect. We opted to pay an additional cost to have the gender results through a blood test, BUT my partner and I wanted to do a gender reveal a month or so later. So it was very important that the method of delivery of results, was crystal clear, so that myself or my partner do not accidentally find out before our own reveal. Well... we did. The nurse told me I would "receive an email with the results, but it's ok if I open it because the results are in an attachment." That is NOT the case, this is what actually happens: You receive one initial e-mail, advising you that the results email is coming in the next few hours. Then, you receive a second email entitled "Your SneakPeek Gender Result Is In!" - but there is NO ATTACHMENT. The results are displayed directly in the email (after a 3 second countdown which you can easily miss...). So in my case, I saw the results, because I opened the email wanting to forward it to my gender reveal planner, thinking I wont see the results ! but I did. and so I actually cried when it happened (yay, hormones..) because it is not the way I wanted to find out. I wanted to be surprised along with my partner during the reveal, like everyone else. I genuinely hope the clinic trains all the nurses on this procedure, so that it saves potential disappointments for other moms-to-be.

I have been a patient with Ovo for 5 years with both my pregnancies and also for gynecology and I’m just very upset at the lack of care and service I have received thus far. I called in the spring of 2021 to get a routine Pap smear and they told me they have a waiting list, and that they would put me on the list and call me back. I never received a call and I had to go to another clinic to get one done. I even called today to book an appointment to see a gynecologist for an issue I’ve been having that may or may not be serious and the receptionist on the phone told me that they are no longer conducting appointments for gynecology, only for pregnancy follow-ups. She told me I had to go to a walk-in clinic and get a referral and then she would schedule an appointment for me. I’m both surprised and shocked that they deny their own patients to see a doctor. I’ve been a patient with them for 5 years, why on earth would I go into a walk-in clinic to speak to a generalist doctor that doesn’t even know me for him/her to give me a referral to have an appointment with my own gynecologist?! This makes absolutely no sense and Clinic Ovo should be ashamed of themselves for turning their own patients away. This is criminal.

We went for an ultrasound of our little one and to check for any deformations (at around 12 weeks). Outstanding service, super friendly staff and our nurse was amazing. We can't speak for fertility treatments but in terms of our experience, it was amazing. Rosella, our technician for the ultrasounds, was outstanding.

I have called the phone number of Clinique Ovo for two consecutive days in an attempt to book an appointment. I have called over 10times, dialing all possible options with no response. The phone rings for a while and gets disconnected, is this the kind of service offered by the clinic? Its very disappointing 😕, I wonder why all the positive reviews. It's best to notify the public if your caseload is currently full rather than make us believe we can get an appointment anytime when its not the case. I will just seek for an appointment with another fertility clinic, I believe there are lots that will provide better services.

I went to ovoclinic to have a 1st trimester ultrasound and my experience was amazing. The tech that did the US (Rossie) was so kind and explained us every single detail and answered all questions we had. The secretaries and also the girls taking the blood were all ULTRA nice and wonderful. I'm definitely going back for the next one. Thank you very much girls! I had a wonderful experience

Tried to get an appointment for an ultrasound and they picked up the phone and made me wait 10 min while the nurse or person on the other side of the phone was discussing another patients case. Great job at keeping other patients cases secret. For sure it just took me a phone call to realize that your service is really bad.

Worst clinic ever. First the waiting time is awful, I went there to make a test, even with an appointment I had to wait 45 min before I had a blood test. Then when we had our second appointment with the doctor after the test, we never got a follow up with a nurse, we had to wait a month and a half to get an answer about what's going on to be told it was IT problem and that the nurse never got the note from the doctor about the follow up even though we called multiple times to say we were waiting for a follow up. After 6 months of waiting to see all their specific specialist, we cannot get ahold of the coordination.we Sent an e-mail as they asked and I had to call to get a follow up on THAT EMAIL to be told that I still have to wait for God knows what else and miss again some more cycle. I would of never thought this clinic could be so awful and problematic with their patient.

The whole staff is super. Always kind and ready to help with a smile. Doctors are amazing, knowledgeable and really nice, the right people to be surrounded by if you are pregnant. I always felt in good hands there, during my fertility treatment first and then during my pregnancy.

Worst service ever. Confirms appointments and then you arrive and no appointment is in there system. Then they blame the client for cancelling the appointment when no cancellation was done on my end. The issue is with montreal central. However the team in brossard was amazing they squeezed me in and work over to help me.

Ovo didn’t even finish my ultra sound, we discover there was no baby inside the placenta but my doctor still needed the measurement to see if I was maybe only 2 weeks preggo.. when I called back, they said they couldn’t do anything f for me anymore as I am flag as a complicated pregnancy, that if I needed more detail to go do my test at hospital. Basically received a much better service at public than private .. not impressed
